Today's Preview
The Breeders' Cup is underway in Santa Anita, and all six of Friday's races are on the board. If those don't catch your fancy, there's plenty of night games on tap in the NBA and NHL.
We wanted to find a soccer match that would end before the races, so we've posted a 2 Bundesliga affair between Paderborn 07 and Koblenz. The visitors get the draw.
ESPN2 will be at the track all day as we progress through our six propositions. Perhaps appropriately, early Streakers are putting all their faith in Blind Luck (running in the Juvenile Fillies).
The NASCAR trucks make their first Streak appearance in many months. Current leader Ron Hornaday will try to hold off early-season monster Kyle Busch.

NBA - San Antonio Spurs at Portland Trailblazers
No rest for San Antonio as they go back to back on the road - after losing at Utah on Thursday, they head west to Portland where the Blazers await. Will they have anything left in the tank?

Thursday's Review
Thursday opened with tennis, then on to a typical melange of soccer, basketball, hockey, and college football.
Streak favorite John Isner won the first set in Basel, but Frenchman Richard Gasquet played gamely down the stretch to pull out a three-set victory.
In the Streakers biggest Thursday triumph, Villarreal scored early and often on their way to a dominating 4-1 destruction of Lazio.

NCAA Football - Virginia Tech at East Carolina
The Hokies were huge favorites in this game, so we made it a proposition instead: would the Hokies win by more points than the Pirates scored in the second half? The answer was an easy yes as Tech's stifling defense shut out ECU in the second half and gave up only three points all game.
The night closed on an unhappy note for Streakers when the Jazz easily topped the Spurs.
Wednesday's Results
Streakers peeked into the black, but just barely as they completed Wednesday with a 52 percent mark.

Today's Preview
Soccer, hoops, hockey, college football, and a rare evening golf proposition.
ESPN's basketball doubleheader opens with Miami at Washington. Star guards Gilbert Arenas and Dwyane Wade are both averaging 26.5 PPG in the early season.
The Phillies travel back to Yankee Stadium hoping to force a deciding seventh game in the World Series. The Bombers are heavy favorites, so we've put up a prop instead - will starter Andy Pettite be credited with a win? Early Streakers think not by a 3-1 ratio.
The world's top golfers are in Shanghai China for the WGC-HSBC Champions event. In tonight's proposition, young Kiwi Danny Lee takes on American Matt Kuchar in a 9-hole challenge. We're giving the tie to the kid.

NBA: Dallas Mavericks at New Orleans Hornets
New Orleans has stumbled out of the starting gate with a 1-3 record to open the season. They'll try to right the ship against the visiting Mavericks, who are on an impressive three-game winning streak since losing their opener to the Wizards. It's the old vs. the new at PG, with wily veteran Jason Kidd going against the NBA's current best in Chris Paul.

Tuesday Preview
We start in the Czech Republic with the U-19 Euro Championship. We ask who will be winning by more at halftime? Spain against FYR Macedonia or Portugal against Wales? This is a toss-up for sure.
The Champions League returns as well with Chelsea at Atletico Madrid. Chelsea has the odds on the road and will be the overwhelming pick for the majority of Streakers. Man U also makes its return, but in an over/under matchup. The under has the odds so far, but we'll see how Streakers view this one.
We also have a battle of a few unbeatens in the NBA with the Suns at Heat.

NCAA Football: Bowling Green @ Buffalo
Both teams are struggling a bit this year but they get a chance to put on a show on national television. Buffalo is favorite by three at home and is The StreakMaster's pick as well.

Monday Preview
A four-win day on this rather slow Monday. Soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball and football all make the board today.
In Danish soccer action, Odense has the -150 odds at home and for our second soccer matchup, the under is the best bet for second half goals.
The World Series may end tonight but the Phillies have their ace on the hill to try to prolong the series. Can Cliff Lee pitch another gem for the Phils or will A.J. Burnett lead his Yanks to their first title since 2000?
Lastly, Ryan Gomes is averaging 12 points per game while Al Thornton is just below 9 points per game. Keep in mind this is a first half prop.

MNF: Falcons 2nd Half Points vs. Saints Winning Margin
The Saints are projected to win by about 12 points therefore the Falcons would need two touchdowns in the second half to win this matchup. The StreakMaster thinks Matt Ryan and Michael Turner can get that number and will take this matchup.

.503 winning percentage for the day. The Vikings were the top extender while the Avalanche were the top streak breakers.

Sunday Preview
November begins with a healthy helping of NFL, plus side dishes of soccer, basketball, hockey, and NASCAR.
Manchester City visits Birmingham in the pre-football football. The home team gets the draw in this match.
For the first Sunday in quite a while, most of the NFL games are close enough to list straight up. Streakers like the Houston Texans best of all, perhaps forgetting that it's never easy to travel to Buffalo during the colder months.

NFL - Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
It's the rematch between Brett Favre and his former team, and as there have already been a few million words written about this game, I'll leave it at that.
The two Southern California MLS teams face each other in the playoffs. Most oddsmakers regard Chivas and Galaxy as evenly matched, so a draw will be a draw.
The Phillies will have to beat Yankees ace Carsten Charles Sabathia tonight to square the World Series at two wins each.
Yesterday's Results
Streakers jumped back up to 57 percent behind the efforts of Arsenal and the Idaho Vandals.

Happy Halloween
October's monthly race is coming down to the wire as four users are within one of the top spot. There are more than twenty matchups to choose from today, with college football the usual Saturday mainstay.
Before the football starts there are three Eurosoccer matchups on the board. Tottenham travels to Arsenal, Bayern Munich plays at Stuttgart, and Liverpool makes the trip to Fulham.
At noon there are a couple "larger victory margin" options. BCS contenders Iowa and Cincinnati both need to keep winning to impress the pollsters and the computers. Iowa is without their starting RB but it shouldn't matter as they host Indiana; the Bearcats visit hapless Syracuse and Greg "Mr. Interception" Paulus.
The World Series shifts to Philly all tied at one game each. Scheduled to throw from the bump are Andy Pettite and Cole Hamels.

NCAA Football - USC Trojans at Oregon Ducks
Streak HQ expects this clash to live up to expectations. The Ducks have been unstoppable since their opening disaster against Boise State, but the Trojans have the personnel on defense to stop Oregon's slashing running attack. On the flip side, USC's offense has run hot or cold all season - interceptions are a worry against Oregon's big play defenders. We're calling the Ducks to win this one by under a touchdown.
The Blazers try to rebound from Thursday's collapse against the Nuggets, but they'll have to do it on the road in Houston.
Yesterday's Results
Streakers repeated at 47 percent as some good calls were undone by French tennis and the South Florida Bulls.

Friday Preview
After early tennis and soccer, it's an evening of basketball, hockey, and college football.
The Knicks and Bobcats both hope to get off the schneid when they tip off in Charlotte.
ESPN's Celtics-Bulls tilt is expected to be a romp, so on the Streak it's paired with the Hornets-Kings clash in a victory margin battle. The sportsbooks have both home teams favored by about 12 points.

NCAA Football - West Virginia at South Florida
West Virginia has needed a second-half comeback in its last two games, but are slightly favored over the Bulls, who will focus on stopping WVU star running back Noel Devine. The Bulls have struggled on offense since redshirt freshman B.J. Daniels took over signal-calling from injured senior starter Matt Grothe.
We've posted a pair of late-night NHL games - Vancouver travels to Anaheim, and the Sharks host the Avalanche.
We end our night in Los Angeles, where Dirk and Kobe compete to see who can garner more points plus rebounds.
Yesterday's Results
Streakers went a mediocre 47 percent after Brandon Roy broke out in the third quarter of last night's Blazers-Nuggets game, and then held off Melo's late charge.
